Meet the Girls!

I would like to introduce you to our mannequins - Lola & Eloise.  These are such fun bios that Diane (our intern) wrote for them!

Lola & Eloise have been best friends since childhood and absolutely inseparable.  They are both fashionistas, but with their own distinct style.  We hope you enjoy this initial meeting and continue to follow their fashionable lives to learn more about them!

Lola

Lola the wildcard has returned to Grand Rapids after a year of strutting the cobblestones in Milan and sipping Sangria beachside in Barcelona.

Lola has an affinity for all things bedazzled – from sequined blazers to glitter covered stilettos and jewel toned manicures. Her wardrobe (see: enough suitcases to outfit a socialite army) is a colorful menagerie of unexpected patterns, vintage inspired ensembles and a sea of infamous red-soled pumps. This fall, she is ready to brave the West Michigan chill warmed by heavy, bold necklaces, extravagant leggings paired with structured jackets and carefully considered knit ensembles topped with a fur scarf and bright leather gloves.

For nights out, Lola is not afraid to break fashion rules. Her mantra? More is more, more, more! She believes in (tasteful) underwear as outerwear, sky-high platforms at the grocery store, thigh-highs with heels, wispy false lashes &bold lips for brunch and never being caught in a pair of flats.

Eloise

Always the levelheaded sophisticate of the pair, Eloise is a driven advertising executive and dedicated mother of two. Despite her busy agenda, Eloise’s style is effortlessly chic and demure.

Eloise gravitates towards dainty dresses for evenings out and mixed neutrals that are anything but “blah” for weekends off with her family. All business during the week, she favors sharp tweedy, tailored suits and tastefully mixed patterns topped with classic accessories (with a twist!)

After a long week, Eloise appreciates a glass of wine and a walk through downtown Grand Rapids with her husband – in functional flats! Eager to leave her work at the office, Eloise reaches for a clutch just large enough to hold tickets to the ballet.
