If you're familiar with Grand Rapids, then you know that it's a great place for a beer! After all, Grand Rapids is the Beer Capital! Eloise and I were thrilled to spend our Tuesday night celebrating our good friend, Becky's 21st birthday at Founder's Brewery. The drinks are so yummy and it was good to have a night getting a little loose! Especially for Eloise; she is so stiff all the time!
At Becky's request, we dressed up for the affaire and it was a blast! I personally loved turning the heads at the bar. You know me, flirting is one of my favorite hobbies!
I wore this adorable dress by Rachel Zoe and carried this clutch by Kate Spade. I chose not to wear any earrings because I didn't want to take away from my posh buttons. However, I did throw on my new favorite chunky bracelet by Bat-Ami Design.
Eloise rocked this gorgeous and vibrant dress by Bailey44 and also carried a handbag by Kate Spade.
That's Becky in the middle and she is holding her first legal drink! We just loved celebrating with her and it was good to get out and have a fun night on the town. Founder's is such an awesome atmosphere and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice.
The staff even helped Eloise and I pick out some tasty beer for Eloise to take home to her hubby. We will definitely be planning another trip to Founder's soon! If you see Becky around town don't forget to tell her Happy Birthday and make sure to check out Founder's if you get the chance!

Wine Warm Up
You know what they say "the solution to any problem is...wine." Well actually I'm not sure if anyone has ever said that, but Eloise and I certainly believe it's true. So as a solution to these polar vortex temperatures, we decided to indulge in a wine and cheese filled girls' day. We had heard some talk around town about a cute shop called The Cheese Lady Grand Rapids and knew we had to check it out for ourselves. It does consist of two of our favorite things. Plus what better way to warm up than with some wine and cheese!
When we arrived we knew we were in for a great time. The women working were so kind, offering us delectable samples the second we walked in the door! We went straight to the cheese counter where we saw a board filled with various cheeses. Over 100 cheeses to be exact! Eloise decided to do some tasting of cheeses that make great sandwiches for the kids (she settled on one called Prairie Cheddar..YUM) but you know what I had my eye on...the wine wall of course.
We can't wait to bring all of our friends to The Cheese Lady for some more delicious sampling and to show them all of the awesome Michigan made products! Cheers to a great girls' day and great food!

With all of the treacherous weather lately, Eloise and I decided to channel our inner spring fever with some new spring clothes. I wore a Paper White blouse, with a Minnie Rose maxi skirt and topped it off with a Jakett jacket. I felt like the outfit needed a little edge and went with a chunky necklace to take my outfit to the next level.
Eloise was sassy and sophisticated as per usual and decided to wear a Bailey 44 dress along with a Weill necklace and tied in some Sisco and Berluti bracelets to pull the whole outfit together.
We were lucky enough to have them set up a pairing just for us. The perfect pairing for the perfect pair of best friends!

The Saturday Experience
It is that time of year again where the weather gets cold and I get lazy on weekends! So, I decided to look up some fun things to do during this time of year. I stumbled upon this so called “Saturday Experience” that the Grand Rapids Roasters has every Saturday. I called Eloise up on the phone and told her we HAD to try it out! We usually are wine individuals but desperate times call for desperate measures, I need a warm drink in my hand…I mean I could always indulge in some Bailey’s and coffee…hmm…yeah I think that’s for next weekend! Anyways, I bundled up in some great new winter attire from Leigh’s, hopped in the car, and took a nice brisk morning drive with my right hand gal to the Grand Rapids Roasters.
The coffee house was in this hundred year old building. We
rode an industrial elevator to the fifth floor and walked into this little café
that you would not imagine to be there. Right away we were served with this
amazing Dominican blend coffee and got to talking with the owner Craig. He was absolutely
delightful to talk to about his business, you can really tell he is passionate
in what he does!
Eloise wore a very cute chunky K&K Interior necklace while I wore a Dana Stein scarf
We looked fabulous, I must say!
I wore a black Bailey 44 dress with Vince leggings while Eloise wore a Nic-Zoe top, a Zoe Couture cape, and nutmeg colored pair of Not Your Daughters Jeans.
The morning turned out to be such a fun little outing and I would suggest to anyone to go check it out if they had the time. It is a great place to take your friend or significant other to have a different coffee experience! If you’re in the mood to switch it up I would highly recommend checking out the Grand Rapids Roasters “Saturday Experience!”
We met some new, funky friends while we visited the Grand Rapids Roasters!
